Young People
The Fan Makers support charities which offer opportunities to young people to develop personal skills and initiative, understand how to recognise and avoid dangerous situations that they might face, and cope well with life’s challenges.
Build up
Build Up runs hands-on construction projects for young people empowering them to design and build spaces within their own communities. By partnering with local schools, community centres, and playgrounds, Build Up opens access to roles and skills that many young people have never had the opportunity to explore.
Hackney Quest
Hackney Quest aims to give young people the practical and emotional support they need to develop new skills, widen perspectives and opportunities and enable them to pursue their aspirations and deal positively with life’s challenges, through their New Futures programme.
St giles
St Giles helps people impacted by poverty, violence, exploitation and the justice system to build a positive future. Support by the Fan Makers is specifically for the SOS+ Service which delivers preventative and early intervention work to children and young people, as well as training for parents and professionals in educational and community settings.
St andrew's youth club
St Andrew’s Youth Club has for over 150 years been a space for young people to grow. For the 500 young people who walk through our doors, this is their space, and they walk out heads higher, and walking a little taller than when they walked in.
